Of inspirations, I have many,
but some of my most inspiring moments come from the wide eyed wonderment that I see in childrens eyes!. These drawings are from my 9 yr old niece Amber whos artistic talents completely captivate my mind.! Everything that she draws, she does so strictly of her memory. She can sit and draw endlessly for hours on end! She thinks that the "eraser marks" mean that she is not "very good!". I try to explain to her that all good artists have to re-do their work sometimes "many times over!" and that "someimes I have to remake my animals as many as 5 or 6 times!". She usually remarks with a disbelieving "Really?"
There no doubt in my mind that one day her work will be admired by many. But in the mean time she spurs me on when I struggle with my own "eraser marks"
